A remote patient monitoring system (RPM) enables doctors and other carers to monitor the health of patients outside of clinical settings. It is made up of wireless medical devices that measure patients' vital signs and securely send them for clinicians to view and diagnose. Redox EMR systems that are coupled with RPM platforms send vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, glucose levels, and others to the EHR.

Redox reads and analyses the readings from the device before they are stored in the medical records. The readings are then translated into a format acceptable for the records, after which providers can examine them.
